PLEASE NOTE: I TRY TO GET THIS THING UPDATED EVERY WEEK BY ABOUT 10:00 ON MONDAY MORNING. HOWEVER, THIS SOMETIMES DOES NOT OCCUR UNTIL A BIT LATER, USUALLY DUE TO A COFFEE INTAKE DEFICIENCY. SO, IF THAT IS THE CASE, PLEASE CHECK A LITTLE LATER...
.....................OR A LITTLE LATER THAN THAT!
Hi, Gang!
I'm sorry that I'm a little late with this week's schedule, but I have a very good excuse: I was fishin' with my son. Anyhow, I'm only playin' two gigs in public this week, 'cause the rest are private, so I hope I see y'all at one or both of the public ones... and/or at one or more of the private ones!
Oh, by the way,
The Windsor Inn is closed for vacation this week (June 30 'thru July 5) so I ain't gonna be there this Tuesday, but I'll be back there next Tuesday.
Here's where I'm playin' in public this week:

Wednesday --- July 2nd --- from 6:30 'till 9:30 --- the party continues at THE RAILROAD HOUSE (right by the railroad tracks on Woodrow Ave. in Sinking Spring)... THIS IS A GREAT NEW COVERED CABANA BAR AND RESTAURANT... FOR "ALL SEASON" PARTYING...and it's a pretty sure bet that you're gonna see somebody that you know there! I'll be playin' there every Wednesday this summer, so come out to the hottest new spot in Berks County for some great food and beverages and some of those "songs you know by heart" !!

FRIDAY JULY 4TH --- 6:30 'TILL 9:30 --- AT THE INN AT READING --- "The Inn at Reading" is another of Berks County's oldest established and best known restaurants, dating back to when it was called "The Reading Motor Inn"; I've always really enjoyed both playing and dining there, and I was really glad when my old friend and cohort Bill Kraft called me to start playin' there again for the summer. They have a great little cabana deck over there, and it's great to be playin' out there again.

Okay... here are some more of those "thoughts to ponder" that y'all seem to like a lot:

You can go anywhere you want if you look serious and carry a clipboard.

The real art of conversation is not only to say the right thing at the right time, but also to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment.

The easiest way to find something lost around the house is to buy a replacement.

If you think there is good in everybody, you haven't met everybody.

...and finally, just remember this:

life is like a roll of toilet paper. The closer it gets to the end, the faster it goes.

.... as always... I hope I see y'all soon and often................ John
